Rising Strong: The School Takes Shape

With the walls now standing and the roof securely in place, the Girls Arise Uganda school has moved from vision to reality in the most powerful way. What began as an empty plot of land is now a structure with shape, strength, and unmistakable purpose—a school built from the ground up with love, hope, and determination.

Every brick laid and beam raised has brought us closer to opening day. Walking through the completed exterior, you can begin to feel what this space will soon become: a safe haven for learning, a place of growth, and a symbol of opportunity for the children of Nyenga and surrounding communities.

The transformation so far has been remarkable, but our journey is far from over. The next steps—installing windows and doors, completing core infrastructure like plumbing and electricity, furnishing classrooms, and preparing the space for enrollment—are just ahead. These final stages will bring life, color, and comfort to a building that already holds so much promise.

We’re looking forward with full hearts to the first day of school in 2026, when students will walk through these doors and into a future filled with opportunity. Enrollment will begin soon, and every step we take now moves us closer to that moment.
